Adeona Travel Atelier was born from a simple belief: that travel should be more than movement. Named after the Roman goddess of journeys and safe returns, Adeona reflects our philosophy of crafting not itineraries but experiences that feel personal, intimate, and deeply connected to place.
Rooted in Armenia yet inspired by the world, we design journeys that honor the country’s ancient soul while embracing contemporary elegance. Founders
Hasmik and Zara have been friends for forty years, connected by a shared curiosity, a strong sense of identity, and a deep love for Armenia. Over the decades, their careers grew in parallel—each building expertise in tourism, management, culture, and experience design. Together, they now bring more than sixty years of combined professional knowledge to Adeona Travel Atelier.
Both have worked closely with Armenia’s leading guides, artisans, hoteliers, winemakers, historians, and cultural practitioners. They know the country not only as professionals but as insiders – people who have spent a lifetime exploring its landscapes, meeting its communities, and understanding what makes each place meaningful. Nearly every experience provider in Armenia knows Hasmik and Zara by name.
Julie, who has lived in the United States since childhood, grew up longing to reconnect with Armenia in a more meaningful way. She dreamed of exploring the country beyond surface-level visits—to understand its culture, rhythms, and soul through the people who truly knew it. Meeting Hasmik and Zara made that dream possible. Their insight, warmth, and deep familiarity with Armenia opened a door she had always hoped to find.
Anna, also part of the Armenian diaspora, shared a similar desire: to feel closer to her heritage and to experience Armenia with authenticity and intention. Her journey with Hasmik and Zara helped her rediscover a sense of belonging she had carried inside her for years. Through this connection, she found not only deeper roots but also a way to help others reconnect with theirs.
Together, the four discovered a powerful common vision. Hasmik and Zara bring the wisdom of a lifetime spent in Armenia; Julie and Anna bring the perspective of those who return with hope, curiosity, and a longing for connection. Adeona Travel Atelier was born from this meeting of hearts and experiences.
